Our Board Members
The Annasemble Board is a team of dedicated volunteers who oversee the strategic direction of Annasemble. The Music Director attends meetings as a nonvoting member. While the Music Director is responsible for the artistic direction of the organization, the Board is responsible for oversight, including: fundraising, publicity, backstage management, food, receptions, hiring, administrative paperwork, and more.
Kemberly Moody

Leads the board and provides strategic guidance to support Annasemble's mission and long-term vision.
Barbara Ornstein
Secretary
Provides detailed records, ensures legal compliance, and faciliates communication between members.
Taryrn Brown
Director
Taryrn is an professor of education at UF and parent of Young Annasemble member. She brings valuable perspectives on the youth programs.
Gillian Lord-Ward
Vice Board Chair
Supports board leadership and helps oversee initiatives that strengthen our organization and community impact.
Monica Coker
Director
Monica has performed with Annasemble since the early 1990s and provides historical and cultural support.
Amy Barber
Director
Amy is an educator, member of the main ensemble, and mentor to the Young Annasemble players. She has participated since 2019.
Joyce Kai
Treasurer
Manages financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency.
Bonnie Bean
Director
A member for over fifteen years, Bonnie brings experience as an educator and supports the Young Annasemble.
Kathy Rambo
Director
Kathy brings a wealth of experience as former board chair of seven years in areas of nonprofit management and grant writing.
